System Requirements

If you want to run DAEMON Tools Pro 8 on your PC, it has to meet the following minimal system requirements:

  • 500 MHz CPU
  • 1024 MB RAM
  • 30 MB of free space available in the target installation directory

DAEMON Tools Pro supports the following operating systems:

  • Windows 2000 SP4 (up to 4.36.0309)
  • Windows XP Pro (up to 7.0)

  • Windows Vista (up to 7.0), requires SP2

    Please note that DAEMON Tools Pro works on Windows Vista only if the following security updates are installed: KB4499180; KB4019204; KB4024402; KB4021903; KB4018466; KB4012598.

  • Windows Server 2008 (4.35.0306 or later)

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (4.35.0306 or later)
  • Windows 7 (4.35.0306 or later), requires SP3
  • Windows 8 (5.2.0 or later)
  • Windows 10 / 8.1 (4.41 or later)
  • Windows 10 Anniversary (6.0 or later)
  • Windows 11 (8.3 or later)
